To install the Acoustic Audio Home Theater Surround 5.1 Speaker System, follow these steps:
1. Determine the location: Decide where you want to install the speakers. The system includes two rectangular front in-wall HD speakers, two rounded rear in-ceiling HD speakers, one dedicated True Center channel in-wall HD speaker, and one 10" HD subwoofer.
2. Run the speaker cords: For in-wall speakers, run the cords across your amp area after going up or down the wall. For in-ceiling speakers, run the cords to your amp and along the ceiling. It is recommended to use a wall plate to decorate wherever the cables exit in your amplifier location.
3. Mount the speakers: The speakers install flush into any wall or ceiling. The Quick-turn mounting arms on the speakers make installation simple. The white grills can be painted to match your decor.
4. Connect the subwoofer: The subwoofer included in this set is not amplified. It requires an external amplifier. You will need to purchase a separate subwoofer amplifier, such as the WS1005, to connect the subwoofer to your system.
