To set the alarm on the JENSEN SR-50 Portable FM Digital Radio, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the radio is in standby mode (tap the POWER/MODE button once to turn on the unit).
2. Tap the ALARM SET button once to activate the alarm setting mode. The LCD display backlight will turn on.
3. Tap the ALARM SET button repeatedly to select either ALARM 1, ALARM 2, or both alarms (dual alarms). The corresponding alarm indicator(s) will light up in the display.
4. When the desired alarm indicator is displayed, press and hold the ALARM SET button for a few seconds. The hour digits of the alarm time will start flashing.
5. Rotate the TUNING/TIME ADJUST FORWARD/BACKWARD xxxx to set the hour time for the alarm.
6. Tap the ALARM SET button to confirm the hour setting. The minute digits will start flashing.
7. Rotate the TUNING/TIME ADJUST FORWARD/BACKWARD xxxx to set the minute time for the alarm.
8. Tap the ALARM SET button to confirm the minute setting. The wake-up message (beeping, FM, or AM) will start flashing.
9. Rotate the TUNING/TIME ADJUST FORWARD/BACKWARD xxxx to select the wake-up source: beeping (bU), FM, or AM radio.
10. Tap the ALARM SET button to confirm the wake-up source. The alarm wake-up volume level will start flashing.
11. Rotate the TUNING/TIME ADJUST FORWARD/BACKWARD xxxx to select the alarm wake-up volume level.
12. Tap the ALARM SET button to finish the setup. The corresponding alarm indicator (AL1, AL2, or both) will light up steadily.
Note: The minimum wake-up volume level is 8.
Repeat these steps to set the other alarm (ALARM 2) or to set both alarms (dual alarms). To disable an alarm from automatically sounding on the upcoming days, tap the ALARM SET button repeatedly until the corresponding alarm indicator goes off. To resume the alarm, tap the ALARM SET button until the corresponding alarm indicator is turned on.
