To calibrate the hygrometer in the Epress Electronic 33L Cooler Humidor, follow these steps:
1. Obtain a salt test kit or a Boveda calibration kit, which includes a calibration bag and a calibration hygrometer.
2. Fill a small container with salt and add a few drops of water to make a paste. The salt should be damp but not wet.
3. Place the salt paste and the hygrometer inside the calibration bag or a sealed container. Make sure the hygrometer is not touching the salt paste.
4. Seal the bag or container and let it sit for at least 24 hours in a stable environment.
5. After 24 hours, check the reading on the hygrometer. It should read 75% relative humidity. If it does not, use the calibration adjustment feature on the hygrometer (if available) to adjust the reading to 75%.
6. Once the hygrometer is calibrated, you can place it back in the Epress Electronic 33L Cooler Humidor and monitor the humidity levels accurately.
Note: It is recommended to calibrate the hygrometer periodically to ensure accurate readings.
