To switch between 2.1 and 5.1 surround sound modes on the System, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the system is powered on.
2. Locate the volume dial on the front panel of the system.
3. Press the volume dial once to switch from 2.1 mode to 5.1 surround sound mode.
4. The LED display will read "PL ON" in 5.1 mode and "PL OF" in 2.1 mode.
5. In 2.1 mode, the system will utilize the subwoofer and 2 front satellite speakers only.
6. In 5.1 mode, the system will utilize the subwoofer and all 5 satellite speakers.
Note: It is important to use the volume dial to switch between modes, as pressing the volume buttons on the remote control will only adjust the volume level and not switch between modes.
