If your Lasko 5409 heater shuts off unexpectedly, it may be due to the built-in safety feature that activates to prevent overheating. To reset the heater, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the heater and wait for at least 10 minutes to allow it to cool down.
2. After the 10 minutes, plug the heater back in.
3. Follow the operation instructions in the manual to turn the heater on and set the desired settings.
