To use the pressure cooking function on the GoWISE USA GW22708 Ovate 8.5-Qt 12-in-1 Electric Pressure Cooker, please follow the steps below:
1. Before using the pressure cooking function, ensure that the pressure release valve is in the "Sealing" position.
2. Add your ingredients and liquid to the inner pot. The manual provides recommended minimum and maximum fill levels for different types of food.
3. Close the lid securely by aligning the arrow on the lid with the arrow on the cooker body. Turn the lid clockwise until it locks into place.
4. Plug in the power cord and press the "Pressure" button on the control panel. The default pressure level is High, but you can adjust it using the "Pressure" button if desired.
5. Use the "+" or "-" buttons to adjust the cooking time according to your recipe. The cooking time can be set from 1 minute to 12 hours.
6. Once you have set the desired pressure level and cooking time, press the "Start/Stop" button to begin the pressure cooking process. The cooker will take some time to build up pressure before the cooking time starts counting down.
7. During the pressure cooking process, the cooker will display the current pressure level and the remaining cooking time. The pressure indicator on the lid will rise when pressure is reached.
8. After the cooking time is complete, the cooker will automatically switch to the "Keep Warm" mode. You can manually release the pressure by turning the pressure release valve to the "Venting" position, or you can allow the pressure to release naturally by leaving it in the "Sealing" position.
9. Once the pressure is fully released, the float valve will drop, indicating that it is safe to open the lid. Carefully turn the lid counterclockwise and open it away from you to avoid any steam.
10. Serve your cooked food and enjoy!
