To set the alarm on the Sangean RCR-5BK FM Digital Tuning Clock Radio, follow these steps:
1. Press and hold the Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 button (depending on which alarm you want to set) until you hear a beep.
2. The hour setting of the alarm will begin to flash. Use the Tuning Up/Down buttons to select the desired alarm hour.
3. Press the Display/Time Set button to confirm the hour setting. The minute setting will begin to flash.
4. Use the Tuning Up/Down buttons to select the desired alarm minute.
5. Press the Display/Time Set button to confirm the minute setting.
6. The display will show the frequency options for the alarm. Use the Tuning Up/Down buttons to select the desired option (ONCE, DAILY, WEEKDAY, WEEKEND).
7. Press the Display/Time Set button to confirm the alarm frequency setting.
8. The alarm can be set to buzzer, FM, or AM. If you choose the radio mode, the radio frequency on the display will begin to flash. Use the Tuning Up/Down buttons to adjust the desired radio frequency or preset number for the radio alarm.
9. Press the Display/Time Set button to confirm the alarm mode setting.
10. Use the Tuning Up/Down buttons to select the desired alarm volume.
11. Press the Display/Time Set button to confirm the alarm volume setting.
12. The alarm has now been set. The symbol for the active alarm will be shown on the display.
Note: To deactivate a sounding alarm, press the Power on/off button. To interrupt a sounding alarm, press the Snooze button. The alarm can be canceled by pressing and holding the corresponding alarm button before the alarm sounds off.
