To set the self-timer on the Fujifilm FinePix JZ700 camera, follow these steps:
1. Turn on the camera and ensure that it is in shooting mode.
2. Press the "Menu/OK" button to access the menu.
3. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the "Drive" option and press the "Menu/OK" button again.
4. In the Drive menu, select the "Self-timer" option and press the "Menu/OK" button.
5. You will see a list of self-timer options: Off, 2 sec, and 10 sec. Use the arrow keys to highlight your desired self-timer option and press the "Menu/OK" button to confirm your selection.
6. Exit the menu by pressing the "Menu/OK" button again.
Now, when you press the shutter button to take a photo, the self-timer will be activated based on the selected option. For example, if you chose the 10-second self-timer, the camera will start a countdown and capture the photo after 10 seconds.
