Cleaning the CLEARinse Nasal Aspirator is important to maintain its hygiene and ensure its effectiveness. Here are the steps to clean the nasal aspirator:
1. After each use, detach the wash head from the handle by twisting it counterclockwise.
2. Rinse the wash head and handle under warm running water to remove any mucus or saline residue.
3. Use a mild soap or dishwashing liquid to clean the wash head and handle. Gently scrub them with your fingers or a soft brush to remove any stubborn residue.
4. Rinse the wash head and handle thoroughly to remove any soap residue.
5. Allow the wash head and handle to air dry completely before reassembling them.
6. Once dry, reattach the wash head to the handle by twisting it clockwise until it is securely in place.
7. It is recommended to clean the nasal aspirator after each use to prevent the buildup of bacteria or mold.
Please note that the saline ampoules provided with the starter kit are for single-use only and should be discarded after each use. Do not attempt to clean and reuse the saline ampoules.
