To adjust the sensitivity on the Hawkeye FishPod® 5x Bluetooth Fish Finder, follow these steps:
1. Press the MENU button on the fish finder display.
2. The Sensitivity Indicator will start blinking.
3. To increase the sensitivity, press the up button.
4. To decrease the sensitivity, press the down button.
5. Once you have adjusted the sensitivity to your desired level, press the V|ESC button to exit the setup menu.
It's important to note that the appropriate sensitivity setting depends on the clarity and depth of the water you are fishing in. Clear water allows for a moderate sensitivity setting, while dirty water may require a higher sensitivity setting. Targeting deep water fish generally requires greater sensitivity, especially in stained or dirty water. Salt and brackish water also require a comparatively higher sensitivity setting.
Experiment with different sensitivity settings to find the one that works best for your specific fishing conditions.
