To connect your Epson PowerLite 980W WXGA 3LCD Projector to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your computer and projector are turned off.
2. Locate the computer video cable (VGA cable) that came with your projector.
3. Connect one end of the VGA cable to the VGA port on your computer.
4. Connect the other end of the VGA cable to the Computer 1 or Computer 2 input port on the projector.
5. If your computer has an HDMI output, you can also use an HDMI cable to connect it to the projector's HDMI port for a digital connection.
6. Once the cables are securely connected, turn on your computer and projector.
7. On your computer, go to the display settings and select the appropriate display mode for the projector. This may involve extending or duplicating the display.
8. If necessary, adjust the projector's input source by pressing the Source Search button on the projector or using the remote control.
