You can connect up to three Algo 1196 satellite ceiling speakers to one Algo 8198 ceiling speaker. This allows you to share the 16W of audio power and increase the coverage of your audio system. Please note that the Algo 8198 ceiling speaker is required and sold separately. The satellite speakers are daisy-chained to the 8198 using CAT5/CAT6 standard patch cables. It is important to wire the satellite speakers directly to each other through a daisy chain, and not through the network. The 8198 IP Speaker will automatically recognize each associated 1196 Satellite Speaker and check its connectivity.
