To connect your Promethean PRM-30 Multimedia Projector to your laptop, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that both the projector and your laptop are powered off.
2. Locate the VGA or HDMI port on your laptop. The PRM-30 projector supports both VGA and HDMI connections.
3. Connect one end of the VGA or HDMI cable to the corresponding port on your laptop.
4. Locate the VGA or HDMI input port on the back of the projector.
5. Connect the other end of the VGA or HDMI cable to the input port on the projector.
6. Power on your laptop and the projector.
7. On your laptop, go to the display settings and select the appropriate display mode for the projector. This may vary depending on your operating system, but commonly you can access display settings by right-clicking on the desktop and selecting "Display settings" or "Graphics options."
8. Select the option to extend or duplicate your laptop's display to the projector.
9. Adjust the focus and zoom of the projector as needed using the controls on the projector or the remote control.
