To connect the JBL 8124 ceiling speakers to an amplifier, you will need speaker cables. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Ensure that the amplifier is unplugged and turn off the breaker for safety.
2. Drill a hole in the ceiling to run the speaker cables from the amplifier to the desired location of the speakers.
3. Insert one end of the speaker cables into the hole and route them to the back of the JBL 8124 ceiling speakers.
4. On the back of the speakers, you will find terminals for connecting the speaker cables. Attach the positive (+) wire to the positive terminal and the negative (-) wire to the negative terminal.
5. Take the other end of the speaker cables and connect them to the corresponding terminals on the amplifier. Make sure to match the positive and negative connections.
6. Once all the connections are secure, turn on the breaker and the amplifier.
7. Test the system by playing audio through the amplifier. Adjust the volume and settings as needed.
