To calibrate the EatSmart ESBS-56 Precision 550 Pound Extra-High Capacity Digital Bathroom Scale, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the scale is placed on a flat, hard surface. Carpeted or uneven floors may affect the accuracy of the readings.
2. Firmly press the platform of the scale to activate the backlight, but do not stand on the platform. Allow the scale to read '0.0' and wait for it to turn off. This step initializes the scale.
3. After the scale has turned off, it is now calibrated and ready for use. You can step on the scale and weigh yourself normally.
Note: If you move the scale to a different location, you will need to repeat the calibration process by following steps 1-3 again.
