To attach an amplifier to the Pyle PDIC80 ceiling speakers, follow these steps:
1. Drill a hole for the wires: Ensure that the amplifier is unplugged and turn off the breaker. Install the wiring by running the speaker wires from the amplifier location to the desired location of the ceiling speakers.
2. Connect the wires to the ceiling speaker terminals: Strip the ends of the speaker wires and connect them to the corresponding terminals on the back of each ceiling speaker. The terminals are typically labeled as (+) and (-) for positive and negative connections.
3. Connect the other end of the cables to the amplifier: Locate the corresponding terminals on the amplifier and connect the other ends of the speaker wires. Ensure that the positive (+) terminal on the speaker is connected to the positive (+) terminal on the amplifier, and the negative (-) terminal on the speaker is connected to the negative (-) terminal on the amplifier.
4. Test the connection: Once all the connections are made, enable the breaker to restore power to the amplifier. Test the system by playing audio through the amplifier and checking if the sound is coming from the ceiling speakers.
