To connect the Polk DSW PRO 440 WI Subwoofer to your audio system, follow these steps:
1. Locate the subwoofer output on your audio receiver or preamplifier. This is usually labeled as "Sub Out" or "LFE Out."
2. Connect one end of a subwoofer cable (RCA cable) to the subwoofer output on your audio system.
3. Connect the other end of the subwoofer cable to the LFE input on the back of the Polk DSW PRO 440 WI Subwoofer. The LFE input is labeled as "LFE In" and is located next to the power switch.
4. Plug in the power cord of the subwoofer to a power outlet.
5. Turn on your audio system and set the volume level to a comfortable listening level.
6. On the Polk DSW PRO 440 WI Subwoofer, set the "Auto On/Off" switch to the "Auto" position. This allows the subwoofer to automatically turn on and off based on the audio signal.
7. Adjust the subwoofer's volume level using the "Volume" control xxxx on the subwoofer or through the settings on your audio system.
8. If necessary, fine-tune the subwoofer's performance using the various controls and settings available on the subwoofer, such as the "Phase" switch and the "Crossover" control.
