To achieve optimal performance with the Klipsch RP-250S surround speakers, it is recommended to follow these placement guidelines:
1. Left and Right Main Channel Speakers: Place the speakers 6 to 15 feet apart, slightly toed-in for better stereo imaging. The listening position should be about 1 to 1.5 times the distance separating the speakers.
2. Center Channel Speaker: Position the center channel speaker as close to the screen as possible, preferably directly on top of or below the screen.
3. Rear Surround Channel Speakers: Klipsch WDST surround speakers should be placed approximately 2 feet above the listening position, which is typically 5-7 feet above the floor. The surrounds can be placed on the walls directly adjacent to the listening position or on the wall behind the listening position, depending on your room's characteristics.
It's important to note that these guidelines are general recommendations and may need to be adjusted based on your specific room layout and acoustics. Experimenting with speaker placement and listening positions can help you find the optimal configuration for your space.
