Yes, this sharpener can be used to sharpen serrated blades. In fact, it is designed to sharpen both straight and serrated edges. To sharpen a serrated blade, you will use Stage 3 of the sharpener. Make five to ten pairs of alternating pulls in Stage 3, and this will sharpen the teeth of the serrations and develop microblades along the edge of the teeth. If the serrated blade is very dull or damaged, you can make one pull in each of the right and left slots of Stage 2 before moving to Stage 3. Just be aware that excessive use of Stage 2 can remove more metal along the edge than necessary, so it's best to primarily use Stage 3 for sharpening serrated blades.
