To turn on the Celestron 44348 PentaView LCD Digital Microscope, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the AC adapter is plugged into an AC power source and securely attached to the microscope.
2. Turn on the illuminator switches by following the instructions in Figures 5 and 6 of the user manual.
3. Press and hold the power button on the LCD monitor for approximately 5 seconds.
4. The Celestron logo will appear on the screen, indicating that the microscope is powered on.
