To connect the Skullcandy S6SYY-P003 Wired Over-Ear Gaming Headset to your gaming console, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure the headset wire is fully plugged in. Firmly press the cord into the headset until it clicks to ensure a secure connection.
2. For Xbox 360 users: If your Xbox 360 is connected to your TV using an HDMI cable, you will need an HDMI optical audio adapter. Connect the USB end of the GMX mixer to one of the USB ports on the Xbox 360's back. Connect the female end of your GMX mixer's red and white connectors to the red and white connectors on your Xbox 360 audio cables.
3. For other gaming consoles: The Skullcandy S6SYY-P003 headset is compatible with PC, Xbox, Switch, Playstation, and even mobile devices. Simply connect the wired 3.5mm aux cable to the audio output of your gaming console.
Once the headset is connected, you can adjust the volume and mute the microphone using the on-board controls on the headset. Refer to the user guide for more detailed instructions on using the headset with specific gaming consoles.
Please note that for Xbox 360 users, there are additional settings that need to be adjusted on the console. You can access these settings by going to the Xbox 360 Dashboard, selecting "Settings," then "Preferences," and finally "Voice." Make sure the volume is set to "10" and the "Play Through Headset" radial is selected for the voice output on the "Voice" screen.
