To install the TRENDnet TV-IP1329PI PoE IR Dome Network Security Camera, follow these steps:
1. Before starting, ensure that you have the necessary package contents, including the camera, tone security Allen key (TV-IP1329PI only), quick installation guide, and weather seal.
2. Make sure you have the minimum requirements, which include an Android or iOS device, working internet service and Wi-Fi, an existing PoE network, and a network cable.
3. If using a PoE switch, connect the TV-IP1329PI to your network using an existing 802.3af/at compliant PoE switch or injector.
4. For outdoor installation, configure the weather seal included in the package per the provided diagram. Remember to terminate the RJ-45 connector after applying the weather seal.
5. Temporarily place the IP camera near you and connect it to a network.
6. Download and install the TRENDnet Mira app on your mobile device, then open the app.
7. Select your country or region and proceed to the login page.
8. Click the Login button and enter your login credentials.
9. Click the Add Device button and scan the QR code on the label of the camera with your mobile device.
10. Press Next and enter the verification code. The default code is TNMira.
11. Create a password for the new device and press Activate.
12. Press Next to complete the adding process.
13. Edit the alias of your camera and press Save. You will then be taken to the live view of your camera.
14. Once added, you should see a live image from the camera, indicating that the installation is complete.
To mount the camera:
1. Place the provided template label on the wall or ceiling.
2. Drill holes at each marked position on the template, ensuring that the drill bit matches the size of the holes.
3. If you have a dome camera, remove the dome cover using the provided tone security Allen key. For a bullet camera, manually adjust it to the desired viewing position.
4. Insert the xxxx anchors into the holes and align the mounting base over them. Use the provided screws to secure the camera to the mounting surface.
5. If you have a dome camera, manually adjust it to the desired viewing position. Once finished, attach the dome cover back on using the tone security Allen key.
