To connect the Klipsch RP-160M bookshelf speakers to your amplifier, follow these steps:
1. Use 16-12 gauge speaker wire for the connection.
2. Connect the RED "positive" (+) terminal of the LEFT speaker to the RED "positive" (+) terminal of your amplifier's LEFT channel.
3. Connect the BLACK "negative" (-) terminal of the LEFT speaker to the BLACK "negative" (-) terminal of your amplifier's LEFT channel.
4. Repeat the above steps for connecting all the remaining speakers to the appropriate amplifier channels.
5. Make sure that no bare wires from any of the connections touch any other terminals to avoid shorting and damaging your equipment.
6. Reference Premiere models RP-160M are equipped with dual binding posts. If you are using a single wire connection, the terminal connecting bar should remain in place. If you are using Bi-wire or Bi-amp connection, the terminal connecting bar must be removed. Please refer to your receiver's manual for further instructions.
Note: Klipsch speakers are highly efficient and can be driven by a wide variety of amplifiers. However, exercise caution with the volume control to avoid damaging your hearing or speakers. Make sure to check your amplifier's manual or consult with your dealer to ensure it is best suited for your application.
