To adjust the recording settings on the Sony PCMD100 Portable High-Resolution Audio/Voice Recorder, follow these steps:
1. Turn on the recorder by sliding the POWER switch to the ON position.
2. Press the MENU button to enter the menu mode.
3. Use the UP or DOWN arrow buttons to navigate to the "REC SET" option and press the ENTER button.
4. In the "REC SET" menu, you can adjust various recording settings, such as recording format, bit depth, sampling rate, and input level.
- To change the recording format, select the "REC FORMAT" option and press the ENTER button. Choose between WAV (BWF), WAV (PCM), or MP3 formats.
- To adjust the bit depth, select the "BIT DEPTH" option and press the ENTER button. Choose between 16-bit or 24-bit.
- To modify the sampling rate, select the "SAMPLING FREQ" option and press the ENTER button. Choose between various sampling rates, such as 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 96 kHz, or 192 kHz.
- To set the input level, select the "INPUT LEVEL" option and press the ENTER button. Adjust the input level using the UP or DOWN arrow buttons.
5. After making the desired changes, press the MENU button to exit the menu mode.
