To connect the KEF T101 Satellite Speakers to your AV amplifier/receiver, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your AV amplifier/receiver is turned off and unplugged.
2. Identify the speaker outputs on your AV amplifier/receiver. These are usually labeled as "Front Left," "Front Right," "Center," "Surround Left," and "Surround Right."
3. Take note of the impedance and power requirements of the KEF T101 Satellite Speakers. They have an impedance of 8 ohms and can handle an amplifier power range of 10-100W.
4. Using suitable speaker cables, connect the positive (+) terminal of the left T101 speaker to the corresponding positive (+) speaker output on your AV amplifier/receiver. Repeat this step for the negative (-) terminal.
5. Connect the right T101 speaker in the same manner, ensuring that the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals are correctly connected to the corresponding speaker outputs on your AV amplifier/receiver.
6. Once all the connections are secure, double-check that the polarity is correct (positive to positive, negative to negative) for both speakers.
7. Plug in and turn on your AV amplifier/receiver.
8. Set the bass management menu on your AV amplifier/receiver to "SMALL" for the T101 Satellite Speakers. This ensures that the bass output is sent to the subwoofer and not the main speakers.
9. Enjoy your KEF T101 Satellite Speakers!
Please refer to the user manual for additional information and diagrams on connecting the speakers to your AV amplifier/receiver.
