To connect the Harman Kardon Omni 20 Plus speaker to your Wi-Fi network, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the speaker is within range of your Wi-Fi router or access point.
2. Download the Harman Kardon Controller app for iOS or Android on your smartphone or tablet.
3. Open the app and follow the tutorial to set up the speaker.
4. Press the "Set Up New Speaker" button in the app to begin the setup process.
5. Choose a room to set up the speaker in and select the predefined room name or customize it.
6. Select a specific color to associate with the room for easier differentiation.
7. Choose the number of Omni+ speakers you want to use in the room (one or two for a wireless stereo pair).
8. Connect the speaker to your home Wi-Fi network by following the instructions specific to your device's operating system:
- For iOS devices: Select the speaker from the list in the app, and a system popup will appear showing available Wi-Fi networks. Choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the password if required.
- For Android devices: Select the speaker from the list in the app, and a list of available Wi-Fi networks will appear. Choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
9. The speaker will automatically reboot and connect to the Wi-Fi network.
10. Press "Done" in the app to complete the setup process.
If you're still having trouble connecting the speaker to your Wi-Fi network, make sure the speaker is within range of the Wi-Fi router or access point, and double-check that you're entering the correct Wi-Fi password. You can also try restarting your router and speaker, and ensure that you're using a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network as the speaker does not support 5GHz networks.
