To install the Rockford Fosgate T2652-S component speakers, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal to prevent any damage or injury.
2. Read and understand the instructions provided in the user guide before starting the installation.
3. Run all wires before mounting the speakers for easier assembly.
4. Use high-quality connectors to ensure a reliable installation and minimize signal or power loss.
5. Be cautious when drilling or cutting to avoid damaging any vehicle components or wiring.
6. Avoid running wires underneath the vehicle and use rubber or plastic grommets to protect wires routed through metal.
7. Determine the mounting location for the speakers, ensuring there is enough space and no obstructions.
8. Refer to the specification chart and template provided to determine the proper diameter hole to cut for your speaker model.
9. Mark the locations for the mounting screws and drill the holes using a 1/8" bit.
10. Feed the speaker wires through the cutout and connect them to the speaker terminals, observing proper polarity.
11. Fit the speaker into the cutout and install the screws in the slotted holes at the top and bottom. Rotate the speaker to align with the remaining mounting holes and tighten the screws.
12. Ensure the speaker is snug in place to prevent rattling, but do not over tighten the screws.
13. If needed, use the adapter plate provided to mount the speaker.
