To connect the Fluance SX6WH bookshelf speakers to your audio system, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your audio system has speaker outputs or a compatible amplifier/receiver to power the speakers.
2. Identify the speaker wire terminals on the back of the SX6WH speakers. They are labeled as 5-way gold plated binding post terminals.
3. Strip the insulation from the ends of your speaker wire to expose the bare wire.
4. Twist the exposed wire strands to prevent fraying.
5. Unscrew the binding posts on the back of the speakers.
6. Insert the bare wire into the corresponding red (+) and black (-) terminals on each speaker. Ensure that the polarity is correct (red to red, black to black) to maintain proper phase alignment.
7. Tighten the binding posts to secure the wire in place. Make sure the connection is tight to ensure good conductivity.
8. Repeat the process for the other speaker.
9. Connect the other end of the speaker wire to the speaker outputs or amplifier/receiver terminals on your audio system. Again, ensure correct polarity.
10. Once all connections are made, power on your audio system and play some audio to test the speakers.
Note: If you are unsure about the connections or need further assistance, it is recommended to consult the instruction manual provided with the Fluance SX6WH speakers or reach out to Fluance's lifetime customer support for personalized guidance.
