To connect your Sony VPL-FX30 LCD projector to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your computer and the projector are turned off.
2. Locate the computer's video output port. This is usually a VGA or HDMI port.
3. Connect one end of the appropriate video cable (VGA or HDMI) to the computer's video output port.
4. Locate the corresponding video input port on the projector. The VPL-FX30 has multiple input ports, including VGA, HDMI, and DVI.
5. Connect the other end of the video cable to the projector's video input port.
6. Turn on your computer and the projector.
7. On your computer, go to the display settings and select the appropriate display mode for the projector. This may involve extending or duplicating the display.
