To pair the Garmin inReach Mini with a compatible mobile device, follow these steps:
1. Download and install the free Earthmate app on your mobile device from the app store.
2. Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on both the inReach Mini and your mobile device.
3. Open the Earthmate app on your mobile device.
4. On the inReach Mini, navigate to the Main Menu by pressing the Power button and selecting "Main Menu."
5. Select "Settings" and then "Bluetooth."
6. On the mobile device, go to the Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
7. Select the Garmin inReach Mini from the list of available devices.
8. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process.
9. Once the pairing is successful, all inReach functions will be available on the paired mobile device, and you can access your phone's contact list for easier texting.
