To install the JIXYYO DC-306S Dual Dash Camera for Cars, follow these steps:
1. Attach Dashcam to the mount: Choose a location on the windshield near the lower right corner of the mirror. Attach the dash cam to the windshield using the provided 3M stickers.
2. Connect the front camera: Connect the car charger and Dashcam using the charging cable. Plug the other end of the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. Carefully route the power cable around the windscreen and tuck it under the trim.
3. Connect the rear camera: Connect the rear camera to the rear cam port on the device using the rear camera cable. Carefully route the cable and tuck it under the trim.
4. Mount the rear camera: Depending on your preference, you can mount the rear camera inside or outside the vehicle. Inside mounting: Attach the rear camera with the provided tape or drill two holes in the panel and attach it with screws to the cloth of the headliner. Carefully route the cables and tuck them under the trim panel. Outside mounting: Pass the rear camera cable through the vehicle and carefully route the cable. Tuck it under the trim.
Note: Make sure to install the dashcam in a location that does not obstruct your view while driving and ensure that the lens is within the wiping range of the windscreen wiper for a clear view in rainy conditions.
