To wire the Theater Solutions TS425ODB outdoor speakers to your amplifier/receiver, follow these steps:
1. Turn off and unplug your system before making any connections.
2. Use good quality, speaker grade audio cable with polarity coding. The positive lead of the speaker wire (indicated with a "+") should be connected to the Red (or positive) speaker terminal, and the other speaker wire lead should be connected to the Black (or negative) speaker terminal.
3. Connect the opposite end of the speaker wire to your amplifier, ensuring that the polarity is preserved. This means connecting the "+" to "+" or Red to Red, and "-" to "-" or Black to Black.
4. Once the wiring is complete, turn on your system and begin playback of material you are familiar with. Start at a low volume and gradually increase to a comfortable listening level. The system should sound balanced with stereo sound. If the sound is distorted or confused, double-check that the speakers have been correctly wired to your amplifier/receiver.
