To switch the Acoustic Audio AA5817 Surround Sound Home Entertainment System to 5.1 surround sound mode, follow these steps:
1. Start by connecting all the speakers to the main audio system using the provided color-coded audio wires.
2. Once all the speakers are connected, locate the 5.1 / 2.1 button on the system.
3. Press the 5.1 / 2.1 button to switch the system to 5.1 surround sound mode.
4. You should now be able to enjoy the immersive surround sound experience provided by the system.
