To calibrate the My Weigh 11822165 Ultra ship U2 Digital Scale, you will need an accurate 20kg / 40lb weight or a combination of weights. Here are the steps to calibrate the scale:
1. Make sure the scale is turned off.
2. Press and hold the [M1] button.
3. While holding the [M1] button, press the power button and then release both buttons.
4. The display will show "CL. 20 kg" or "CL. 40lb".
5. Press the [M1] button to toggle between the desired calibration weight: "CL. 40lb" for 40lb or "CL. 20kg" for 20kg.
6. Press the [M2] button to confirm the selected calibration weight.
7. The display will show "CAL". Place the correct calibration weight on the platform.
8. Press the [TARE] button. The display will flash and show "PASS" when calibration is complete.
9. The calibration process is now complete, and the scale will return to normal weighing mode.
It is important to note that calibration may be required when the scale is first set up for use, or if the scale is moved to a different altitude or location. Regular calibration helps ensure accurate measurements.
