To calibrate the My Weigh 5500 Table Top Precision Scale, you will need an accurate 5000g weight or a combination of weights. Here are the steps to calibrate the scale:
1. From the offsetting mode, press and hold the [Z] button, then press the [ON/OFF] button and release both keys. The display will show "CAL" and an AD value.
2. Press the [UNITS] button, and the display will show the correct calibration weight "5000.0".
3. Place the correct calibration weight on the platform and then press the [UNITS] button. The display will show " " and then an AD value. Turn off the scale and remove the weight(s).
4. The calibration process is complete.
Please note that calibration may be required when the scale is first set up for use, or if the scale is moved to a different altitude or location. It is important to use an accurate calibration weight to ensure accurate measurements.
