To calibrate the American Weigh Scales AMW-CD1000 Digital Pocket Scale, please follow these steps:
1. Reset the scale by pressing the [I/O] key.
2. Press the [M] key quickly and hold it until the LCD displays "CAL".
3. Release the [M] key.
4. Press the [M] key again.
5. After the LCD flashes "CAL" and "500.0" three times, add a 500g calibration weight to the scale.
6. Wait for 3-4 seconds, and the LCD will display "PASS" followed by "500.0".
7. Remove the calibration weight and press the [I/O] key to turn off the scale. The calibration is now finished.
If the scale is still displaying incorrect weight after calibration, you may need to repeat the calibration process. Please check the availability of calibration weights at the store from which you purchased your scale.
