To set up the HP VR1000-010 Reality Headset Developer Edition, follow these steps:
1. Connect the HMD USB cable to the headset's HMD USB port.
2. Connect your PC's USB 3.0 port to the HMD USB cord.
3. Connect the HDMI cable from the headset to your PC's HDMI out port.
4. Make sure your PC meets the system requirements, including having an Intel Core i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 1700 (or greater) CPU, 16GB+ RAM, and a compatible video card.
5. Ensure that your PC is running the Fall Creators Update for Windows 10.
6. Your PC should have HDMI 1.4 or Display Port 1.2 for 60 Hz HMD Mode, and HDMI 2.0 or Display Port 1.2 for 90 Hz HMD Mode.
7. The headset has 1x USB 3.0 port and 1x USB 2.0 port.
8. The headset supports microphone and built-in audio out through a 3.5mm combination audio jack.
