To connect your devices to the Denon AVR-X4700H AV Receiver, follow these steps:
1. Identify the available input ports on the receiver. The AVR-X4700H has a variety of input ports, including HDMI, optical, coaxial, analog, and USB.
2. Determine the type of connection required for your device. For example, if you want to connect a Blu-ray player, you will typically use an HDMI cable. If you want to connect a gaming console, you can also use an HDMI cable or choose an analog connection if HDMI is not available.
3. Connect the HDMI cable from the HDMI output port of your device to one of the HDMI input ports on the AVR-X4700H. Make sure to use a high-speed HDMI cable for 4K or 8K content.
4. If you have additional devices to connect, repeat step 3 for each device, using a different HDMI input port on the receiver.
5. If you have devices that do not support HDMI, such as older DVD players or audio equipment, you can use the optical, coaxial, or analog input ports on the AVR-X4700H. Connect the corresponding cables from the output ports of your devices to the corresponding input ports on the receiver.
6. Once all devices are connected, turn on the Denon AVR-X4700H and your connected devices.
