To program channels on the Uniden UM385 25 Watt Fixed Mount Marine VHF Radio, follow these steps:
1. Press the "Menu" button on the radio to enter the menu mode.
2. Use the up and down arrow keys to navigate to the "Channel" option and press the "Menu" button to select it.
3. Use the up and down arrow keys to select the desired channel number you want to program.
4. Press the "Menu" button to confirm the channel selection.
5. Use the up and down arrow keys to select the "Frequency" option and press the "Menu" button to select it.
6. Use the numeric keypad to enter the desired frequency for the selected channel.
7. Press the "Menu" button to confirm the frequency selection.
8. Repeat steps 3-7 for each channel you want to program.
Note: The Uniden UM385 radio supports up to 80 programmable channels.
Once you have programmed the channels, you can easily switch between them by using the up and down arrow keys on the radio. Each press of the up or down arrow key will cycle through the programmed channels.
