To charge the Sony NW-ZX2 Walkman, follow these steps:
1. Use the supplied USB cable to connect your Walkman to a running computer.
2. Make sure that the "USB storage in use" message is displayed on the screen.
3. If the message "USB connected" is displayed instead, tap "Turn on USB storage."
4. Wait for the battery symbol to appear on the screen. If a large battery symbol is displayed, it means the remaining charge is too low for the Walkman to operate. In this case, let the Walkman charge for about 10 minutes before it starts automatically.
5. It takes about 4.5 hours to fully charge the battery.
6. To prevent battery deterioration, it is recommended to charge the battery at least once every six months or every year.
Note: If the USB-connected screen appears, tap to quit the screen and proceed with the initial settings.
