To install the Hifonics ZS693 coaxial speakers in your car, follow these steps:
1. Confirm the fit: Make sure the speakers are the correct size for your vehicle. If you're unsure, it's recommended to consult a professional installer.
2. Remove factory speakers: Most factory speakers are located behind interior panels. Access and remove the speakers by removing the door panel or rear package tray, depending on the speaker location.
3. Check fit and wiring: Once the factory speakers are removed, check if the new speakers fit and have enough clearance. Roll the window up and down while holding the speaker in place to test the fit. Use factory harness boots and grommets for wiring.
4. Coax installation: If installing the speakers behind the door panel, connect the positive and negative wires to the proper terminals and securely xxxx the speaker into place. Replace the door panel. If installing in a small panel, follow the same steps and replace the speaker cover panel. For custom installations, it's recommended to seek professional help.
