To pair the camera and monitor for the Infant Optics DXR-8 Video Baby Monitor, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure both the camera and monitor are turned on and within range of each other (up to 700 feet in open space).
2. On the camera unit, press the power button once to turn it on. The camera will emit a startup sound and the LED indicator will turn solid green.
3. On the monitor unit, press the power button once to turn it on. The monitor will emit a startup sound and the LED indicator will turn solid green.
4. Within 30 seconds of turning on the camera and monitor, press and hold the PAIR button on the camera unit for 3 seconds. The LED indicator on the camera will start blinking green.
5. On the monitor unit, press the MENU button to enter the menu settings.
6. Use the arrow buttons to navigate to the "Pairing" option and press the OK button to select it.
7. The monitor will start searching for the camera. Once the camera is found, the monitor will display the camera's video feed.
8. If the camera is not found within 30 seconds, the monitor will display a "No Signal" message. In this case, repeat steps 4 to 7.
9. Once the camera and monitor are paired, you can adjust the camera angle and settings using the menu options on the monitor.
Note: The camera and monitor are pre-paired at the factory, but if you experience any issues with the connection, the above steps can be followed to re-pair them.
