To adjust the crossover frequency on the Rockford Fosgate P300-8P Amplified Subwoofer, follow these steps:
1. Locate the crossover adjustment xxxx on the amplifier. This xxxx is labeled with a range of frequencies.
2. Turn the crossover adjustment xxxx all the way down (counterclockwise) to the minimum frequency setting.
3. Play your audio system and gradually turn the crossover adjustment xxxx up (clockwise) until you achieve the desired crossover point.
4. The crossover frequency can be adjusted between 50Hz and 200Hz. This means you can choose any frequency within this range as the crossover point for your subwoofer.
5. Experiment with different crossover frequencies to find the setting that best suits your audio system and personal preference.
Note: The crossover on the Rockford Fosgate P300-8P Amplified Subwoofer is set to low-pass (LP) operation only. This means that it filters out high-frequency signals and allows only low-frequency signals to be reproduced by the subwoofer. Adjusting the crossover frequency allows you to determine the point at which the subwoofer starts reproducing the low-frequency signals.
