To set up the Bluesound Duo subwoofer and speakers, follow these steps:
1. Unbox the product and ensure that all the components are included: the subwoofer, two satellite speakers, and any necessary cables.
2. Find a suitable location for the subwoofer. It should be placed facing outward into the room and within 8-12 inches of a wall for optimal sound quality. Consider placing it in a corner of the room for even better output.
3. Connect the subwoofer to a power source using the provided power cable.
4. Connect the satellite speakers to the subwoofer using the provided speaker cables. Ensure that the connections are secure.
5. If your stereo receiver has a subwoofer output, connect the subwoofer to it using an additional set of speaker cables. If not, you can connect the subwoofer using the amp's or receiver's speaker connections.
6. Adjust the settings on the subwoofer. We recommend setting the crossover at 80 Hz, though you can increase it to 100 Hz if desired. Avoid setting it above 100 Hz to ensure a seamless integration with the speakers.
7. Download the Bluesound App on your mobile device or computer. Open the app and click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom left corner of the screen.
8. In the app, go to the Music Services section and choose the service or station you want to connect to. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process.
9. Once the setup is complete, you can start enjoying your Bluesound Duo subwoofer and speakers. Adjust the volume, crossover, and phase settings as needed to achieve the desired sound quality.
