1. Make sure the power switch is on and the red indicator is visible.
2. Insert the serrated knife blade into the right slot of Stage 3, between the elastomeric angle guide and the stropping disc.
3. Pull the knife through the slot, moving it from the base of the blade to the tip, while maintaining a steady and even pressure.
4. Repeat the pulling motion for about 5 to 10 pairs of alternating pulls in the right and left slots to sharpen the teeth of the serrations and create micro blades along the edge of the teeth.
