To calibrate the CGoldenwall CNA403 Digital Precision Scale Electronic Balance, follow these steps:
1. Place the balance on a stable, level table and ensure there is no vibration, sunlight, airflow, or strong electromagnetic interference.
2. Press the "ON/OFF" button to turn on the balance. The display will show "8.8.8.8.8." followed by the maximum weighing value.
3. Hold down the "CAL" calibration button without placing any object on the weighing pan. After about 3 seconds, release the button when "--CAL--" is displayed.
4. Wait until the standard weight value is displayed. Place the corresponding weight on the weighing pan and wait for the display to show "---" indicating it is in a waiting state.
5. After a moment, the display will show the "standard weight value." Remove the weight from the pan and wait for the display to show "---" again, indicating it is in a waiting state.
6. Finally, the display will show "0 or 0.0 or 0.00" and the calibration is completed.
If the weighing after calibration is still inaccurate, repeat the calibration process several times. For a visual guide on how to calibrate the balance, you can refer to the provided calibration video.
Please note that the balance comes pre-calibrated and is ready for use. Calibration is only necessary if the scale becomes inaccurate over time.
