To connect the Sony HT-A3000 soundbar to your TV, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your TV and soundbar are turned off.
2. Locate the HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) port on your TV and the HDMI OUT (TV ARC) port on the soundbar.
3. Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC port on your TV and the other end to the HDMI OUT (TV ARC) port on the soundbar.
4. Turn on your TV and soundbar.
5. On your TV, navigate to the settings menu and select the audio output options.
6. Choose the HDMI ARC or eARC option as the audio output.
7. Adjust the audio settings on your TV to ensure that the sound is routed to the soundbar.
Note: If your TV does not have an HDMI ARC port, you can use an optical cable to connect the TV's optical audio output to the soundbar's optical input. In this case, you will need to select the optical input on the soundbar using the remote control.
