To install the Rockville WA658 6.5-inches In-Wall Home Speakers, follow these steps:
1. Determine the ideal placement for the speakers on your wall. It is recommended to position them at the same height as freestanding speakers, which is roughly 2 feet above ear level.
2. Use the provided cut-out dimensions (5" x 7.7") to mark the location for the speakers on the wall.
3. Carefully cut the marked hole in the wall using a drywall saw or a similar tool. Be cautious of any electrical wiring or plumbing behind the wall.
4. Connect the speaker wires to the high-quality spring-loaded push terminals on the back of the speakers. Ensure that the positive and negative terminals are correctly matched.
5. Gently push the speakers into the cut-out hole until they fit snugly against the wall.
6. Use screws or mounting brackets (not included) to secure the speakers in place if necessary.
7. If desired, attach the paintable flush mount grills to the speakers using the provided magnetic grill system. The grills can be painted to match your wall color or left off for a different aesthetic.
8. Repeat the above steps for the second speaker.
9. Connect the speaker wires to your audio receiver or amplifier, ensuring proper polarity.
10. Test the speakers by playing audio through them. Adjust the 3-way tweeter attenuation xxxx on the front panel to customize the amount of high frequencies according to your preference.
