The frequency of filter replacement for the InvisiClean IC-5018-WHITE-V2 Air Purifier depends on the usage and air quality in your environment. The pre-filter, which captures dust and allergen particles, should be checked and cleaned monthly. If there is visible dust and hair on the pre-filter, you can vacuum it off or replace it with a new one.
As for the HEPA filter, it is recommended to check its condition by looking at the backside of the filter. Once the backside turns a grayish color, indicating that dirt has penetrated to the last layer of the filter, it is time to replace it. Generally, the HEPA filter will last approximately 3-6 months, but this can vary based on usage and air quality.
To replace the filters, follow these steps:
1. Open the front cover of the unit from the top.
2. Remove the filter by pulling the two pull tabs.
3. Insert the new filter into the unit with the pull tabs facing up and towards you.
4. Reattach the front cover of the unit and securely latch it into place.
5. Press and hold the FILTER RESET button for 5 seconds to reset the filter change indicator.
It is important to note that the InvisiClean IC-5018-WHITE-V2 Air Purifier comes with a filter replacement indicator. The power LED light will flicker continuously when it is time to replace the filter. To reset the indicator after replacing the filter, press and hold the ON/OFF (Filter reset) button for 5 seconds.
