To program the Retevis RT27 Walkie Talkies for long-range communication, follow these steps:
1. Turn on the walkie talkie by pressing and holding the power button until you hear a beep.
2. Set the channel and CTCSS/DCS code. The channel determines the frequency, and the CTCSS/DCS code helps to filter out unwanted transmissions.
- Press the MENU button to enter the menu mode.
- Use the UP/DOWN arrow buttons to navigate to the "Channel" option and press the MENU button to select it.
